🔍 Creating Overlays (Titles, Logos, Lower Thirds)

Design Your Overlays:
- Use software like Photoshop, Canva, or After Effects to design transparent PNGs (1920×1080) for logos, titles, and lower-thirds.
- Export them as PNGs with transparent backgrounds.
Load Overlays into ATEM Mini Pro:
- Open ATEM Software Control > Media Pool.
- Drag and drop your PNG files into the slots available.
- Once loaded, they’re stored in the ATEM Mini Pro memory until powered off.

🔍 Setting Up Transitions

Smooth Switching:
- In ATEM Software Control > Switcher, choose the Transition Style (CUT, MIX, DIP, WIPE, DVE).
- For podcasts, MIX (Dissolve) works well for smooth transitions between cameras.
- Adjust DURATION for how fast the transition occurs (e.g., 0.5s to 1s for a smooth fade).
Using DVE for Picture-in-Picture (PiP):
- This is perfect for showing your face while displaying video examples.
- Click the On-Air PiP Button on the ATEM Mini Pro or use the software control.
- Adjust size and position under the DVE tab in the software.
