In Adobe Photoshop, you can type in uppercase or lowercase using keyboard settings or the Character panel. Here’s how:
✅ 1. Type Uppercase or Lowercase Using Keyboard
- Uppercase: Hold Shift while typing (for one letter), or press Caps Lock to type all uppercase.
- Lowercase: Make sure Caps Lock is off, and don’t hold Shift.
✅ 2. Force All Caps or Small Caps Using the Character Panel
If you want your text to always appear in uppercase (even if typed lowercase):
Steps:
- Select the Text Tool (T).
- Type your text.
- Highlight the text.
- Go to Window > Character to open the Character panel.
- In the Character panel:
- Click TT icon (All Caps) to force all uppercase.
- Click the Tt icon (Small Caps) to make lowercase letters appear as smaller uppercase letters.
🔁 Convert Existing Text Between Uppercase and Lowercase
You can also convert text after typing:
- Select the Type Tool (T).
- Highlight the text.
- Go to Type > Change Case in the top menu.
- Choose from:
- Uppercase
- Lowercase
- Title Case
- Small Caps (if available)
