🔧 1. Stream to TikTok Using RTMP

To use overlays from StreamElements, you’ll need to stream to TikTok using RTMP (Real-Time Messaging Protocol), which is available if you have TikTok Live Studio access or TikTok Stream Key access (usually by applying through the Creator Center or getting approved).

✅ Steps:

Go to TikTok Live Center and apply for a stream key (if available in your region).
Use OBS, Streamlabs, or StreamElements OBS (SE.Live) to stream via the RTMP key.
In your streaming software, add a browser source that links to your StreamElements overlay.

🌐 2. Integrate StreamElements Overlays

Go to StreamElements
Create or customize your overlay using the Overlay Manager
Copy the Overlay URL
In your streaming software, add it as a browser source (typically 1080×1920 for vertical TikTok format)

TikTok lives are portrait-oriented, so you’ll need to:

Set your OBS canvas to 1080×1920
Design vertical overlays in StreamElements (you can custom design the layout, chat box, alerts, etc.)

🔔 4. Using Alerts & Widgets

Yes! StreamElements alerts, chat overlays, donation alerts, and subscriber goals will work — but only if you’re also streaming to a supported platform (like Twitch/YouTube) OR using a custom donation method tied to StreamElements.

Since TikTok doesn’t support StreamElements alerts natively, these only work if your community interacts through external links (like tipping via your StreamElements tip page).

💬 5. Chat Integration

TikTok chat doesn’t integrate directly with StreamElements yet, but you can:

Use tools like TikTok Live Studio or third-party bots to monitor TikTok chat separately.
If you multi-stream (using something like Restream.io), you can unify chat across platforms — though TikTok’s chat usually stays isolated.
